| DesiDesi.com launched in the summer of 2004. Harminder
Thind (Site owner) after leaving University
with a BSc Hons degree decided to make a web site aimed
at the Asian community. With knowledge in web site designing
and previous personal sites, Thind approached Artists,
media and PR companies across the UK to start the site.
Today DesiDesi.com has
proven to be successful, after only 3 months since the
site started it was getting over 100,000 hits per day.
Now as we come to spring of 2007 DesiDesi.com is recognized
and works close with quite a few Globally major PR companies.
DesiDesi has covered all the latest events and has 1000's
of dedicated members.

WON Best Website at the Music awards in 2006
Hits are now
upto 350,000 a day and can reach upto 10 million a month.
DesiDesi has now created overseas links with the likes
of Motion Pictures, Eros Entertainment alongside
links with major UK PR and marketing companies and
Artists. DesiDesi has brought you latest exclusive
interviews and articles with the likes of Sukshinder
Shinda, Rishi Rich, Jay Sean, Juggy D, Raghav, Ms Scandalous
also Bollywood stars such as Aishwarya Rai, John Abraham,
Vivek Oberoi.
What can you expect
next? Well sky is the limit. We have alot of projects
in the pipeline for 2007 and you the viewiers will hear
about them as soon as they are given the go ahead, we
are not in competition with anyone and believe the internet
is a place to explore and welcome people from all backgrounds.
We aim to make the site how you like it. However we

At 25 Harminder

With the help
of his team and dedicated members DesiDesi.com
won the title of Best Website at the

Amar
works in the IT industry in the Midlands. He has
been working since leaving University and enjoys
his daily work. Amar studied alongside Harminder
and has now known him for several years.
Amar covers regular
events and has become a pro in his camera skills.
He also has a musical background and is part of
a musical band along with several other members
and are hoping to release some material in the
near future. His role in the band is he plays
the drums yes the drums not the dhol and what
a great musician he is. |

has been born and raised in Birmingham. He is
almost 21 and is currently studying Computer Science
at Nottingham Trent University. His aim is to
get his degree and work in a Computer Environment.
With Amritpal
he has been around music all his life as his Dad
made the 1st Bhangra group in Birmingham. Amritpal
has been self taught in dance routines and knows
how to play the dhol.
Amritpal's ambition
now is to make his own Bhangra group and Urban/Street
group and wants to teach kids from the ages of
6 - 12. |

has been part of her life from a young age and

I.T. Consultancy, however, more into the Business
Equity route of consultancy. She’s currently working

store in London. Now that she has completed her
studies, she is looking for full-time work.

culture as although she is of Indian heritage
originally, her family were born in Guyana, South
