| So it’s Christmas again, time for family, friends
and good times. The holidays can be a hectic time, the
shopping, the traffic, the weather. Its can also be
one of the most fun times of the year, a time to relax
and go on vacation.

Another, probably the
most important thing that people look forward to
at Christmas is the PRESENTS! The toys for the kids,
the electronics, the clothes, the food, everyone
looks forward to received presents. Of course we
should! We work hard for busting our backs all year
we deserve it for all the hard work we do. Giving
and receiving has become so commercialized over
the years. Every year the companies come out with
new commercials and advertisements for the holidays.
It seems that all that matters for Christmas these
days are presents. Do we even remember why we celebrate
Christmas? Traditionally, Christmas has been celebrated
as the birth of Jesus Christ. |
While
we are out shopping for presents for our
loved ones we should remember that there
are other less fortunate people out there.
With all the natural disasters that have
took place this year, we should open up
our hearts and give generously to charities
and other organizations that help the
less fortunate. More than 30,000 children
die every day from poverty. Most of these
children live on less than one pound per
day. |

So while you are out
enjoying the festive season remember that there are
people out there that don’t have a bed to sleep in,
don’t have a hot meal to eat, don’t have access to clean
drinking water, and don’t have clothes to wear. Please
give generously.
