1. What first attracted you to Race?

2. Tell us about the character you play in Race?

My character is named Sonia who’s a model that men fall for very easily. She starts off liking a particular person but ends up with another…that forms the crux of the story and the action!

3. Were you wary about acting in a film with so many stars – didn’t you think your character would be lost?

No…every character is individual and equally important to the story so there is no insecurity of getting lost!

4. Don’t women normally get sidelined in thrillers?

This film is not just thrills, its also about romance and comedy. Yes thrills is a big portion of it but the film also has big female part which are integral to the script.

5. Can you talk a little about the music?

I love the music its totally in sync and speed with the film. I’ve worked in other films where I’ve danced to songs of Pritam and I enjoy it every time…his music has a good blend of soul and energy at the same time.

6. How much do you like Atif Aslam?

I am a crazy Atif Aslam fan. I’ve been following his music for a long while now. Infact I requested Mr. Taurani (the producers of the film) to let Atif sing the ballad song and I’m glad that its worked so well. I think its added a lot to this song.

7. You’ve done a really sexy scene in the film – do you find them difficult to do?

This is a film about steam! There is steam coming out all the time from all the actors! Such scenes are part of the film and they are an important part of the film not just done for false effect. Actually all the actors have steamy scenes but its nice that people are picking out mine to talk about!

8. Do you enjoy acting in thrillers?

Yea…I think Hindi cinema has changed so much in the last few years that there is more scope for women to be in thrillers and play a big part of the film. I enjoy them and infact I started my career playing thrillers.

9. Have you ever been in a race in real life?

No I leave that to John!

10. Why should people go see Race?

Its fun, fast, and full of entertainment.
