DJ Fricktion Releases All-Star Mixtape with Collectors Edition Comic and Poster

The Mixtape: Volume 4, hosted by Russell Peters, Chris Brown & Panjabi MC.

LONDON – February 16th 2007 – Def Jam UK DJ and popular producer, DJ Fricktion, today releases the 4th Mixtape from his highly popular Strictly Tuned series. Enlisting an all-star line up of global superstars, including stand-up comedian Russell Peters, Grammy Nominated multi-platinum R&B Singer Chris Brown and Panjabi MC, this mixtape promises to satisfy the growing legion of fans the 12 year veteran DJ has accumulated in the UK and overseas.

As with previous titles, the CD features over 60 tracks, mixed live on three turntables, with new and exclusive remixes from The Game, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, Pretty Ricky, Rick Ross, Pharrell Williams, Joe, N.O.R.E , Jay-Z, 2pac and Ice Cube. Fricktion also lets us explore his personality by threading snippets from some of his recent radio interviews with the likes of Nihal (BBC Radio 1), Nikki Bedi and Adil Ray (BBC Asian Network), Jay Sean and Juggy D (Kiss 100) and G Child (BBC 1Xtra).

"I just had so much I wanted to give on this mixtape, so I was very particular about the tracklisting," says DJ Fricktion, "I spent about a week locked away in the studio planning the tracklist, and suddenly it just came together and then I mixed it Live. I then made a few phone calls to get the hosts on, and added some radio stuff that fans overseas probably haven't heard yet. It's definitely the best work I've done to date."

As an added bonus, fans picking up the mixtape will also receive an exclusive collectors edition fold out comic book strip called 'The Adventures of DJ Fricktion" featuring the DJ in crazy situations with his guest hosts.
