The clocks went forwards and that’s right summer has finally come, out go the winter clothes and in comes the summer clothes, but for now your social life has to come to a stand still, exams round the corner and you realize you haven’t done much revision. You need to pull together and start but most of all don’t panic!

So here are desidesi’s top 5 revision tips and how to ace through those summer exams!

1) Make a revision plan:
- Don’t cram it all the night before
- Spread you revision over the weeks to come and split into topics that you need to tackle before the main exam

2) Link things
- So relate your notes to something you like your favourite food or colours make your notes personal to you.

3) Work out your revision style
- If you’re a person that has a picture memory, make a mind map use colours make your notes stand out to you, make a slideshow anything that will make the information stand out to you
- Maybe you love your music so much that you’re always singing along to a song, make a song out of your topic!
- If your prefer to do quizzes or exam question do it!
Just remember its all about how you revise and how information stays in your brain.

4) Lock away all distractions
- That means disable the internet shut your phone anything that may temp you to give up on the revision

5) Take a break
- Its important to take small breaks after every hour of revision take 15 minutes break but don’t overdo your break because the longer your break the harder it will be to return back to revising so yes in your break your distractions come out enjoy yourself for 15 minutes!
- You can also take 5 minutes break after every half an hour, so in that 5 minutes go for a walk and get out of your revising environment.
- Too much of the same walls will stress you out.
- Sometimes it may be good if you go for a walk with your revision notes a change of environment can help

Scary thought isn’t it locking yourself away from the world and committing yourself to your books?
