Spice Up Your Home
Do you ever think to yourself
about how dull and boring your house or apartment
is? Well do something about it and spice it
up a little! It doesn’t have to be drastic;
just a little something it can make it look
ten times better. Here are some pointers on
how to spice up your home without damaging
your bank account.
Kitchen
We all don’t have the money
to renovate our kitchen, or get new brilliant
granite countertop. So instead start off by
clearing off your countertops and only keeping
out what is necessary, I find the simpler
the better. Then pick a colour that matches
your kitchen, and try finding things in that
colour ie. Sugar, tea and coffee jars, a kettle,
pots and pans. Keeping it nice and simple
with a little dash of colour is the best way
to go for a kitchen, especially when space
is limited.

Family Room
There’s so much you can
do in a family room, firstly try rearranging
your furniture, you might think you have it
in the right position but you never know.
Spice it up by changing up the pillows or
buying a new rug, add a little colour into
the room. If you don’t want to do anything
major, just change the pictures in the photo
frames. A family room is supposed to be somewhere
everyone can relax and hang out, so remember
to make it comfortable.

Bedroom
To add a little spice to
your bedroom, try painting a vertical panel
of colour behind your bed (your bed has to
be in the centre of the wall for this, otherwise
it will look very odd) that goes with existing
colour in the room. If you really don’t want
to paint, then buy some new bedding or curtains
to add a little something to your room. Your
room should be done up how you want it be,
go wild!

There’s so much you can do
to change your home, but a lot of people just
don’t know where to start. If you really need
some help pick up some decorating magazines,
or call up an interior decorator. Just remember
you’re the one who has to live there so do
what you like!
