The single in all it’s guises is packed full of what you would expect from the best of Asian beats in four separate journeys. The solid bass lines the drive of the beat and the nods to the traditional with mesmerising vocal chants. The perfect mix of cutting edge retro that should pack out any dancefloor.

With Disco Warrior dropping on Sept 10th, launch parties for the single and album Mighty Asian Beats will be taking place in two cities on Sept 25th at Cargo in London and Sept 31st at The Factory in Birmingham followed by a tour. The perfect opportunity to see The Kalyan perform live for both parties.

Those responsible for the nights and bringing the single and album projects together are Shaanti duo Manga and Sharnita who have been providing their own unique brand of desi beats and urban sounds on Midlands Galaxy Radio and at their Award Winning club-night for nearly a decade now. With unique access to the sound of the Asian underground, they have used their expertise to push the Disco Warrior single and also compile ‘Mighty Asian Beats’: a compilation packed with exclusive tracks, one off collaborations and Asian anthems.

The album Mighty Asian Beats is due for release on Shaanti Play Music on 24th September 2007.
