Well
people
looks
like
we
got
some
new
talent
hitting
the
scenes
soon,
she’s
already
stormed
Canada
and
now
soon
she’ll
be
ready
to
take
over
here.
I
caught
up
with
new
talent
D’Luscious
and
found
out
what
she’s
all
about,
you
may
have
heard
of
her
on
the
Adil
Ray
show
but
if
not
then
read
on
and
find
out
what
she
has
to
offer.

What
type
of
genre
is
you
music? My
music
is
a
combination
of
Hip
Hop
and
R&B
What
is
your
background? I
am
100%
east
indian,
indo
-canadian,
asian...whatever
you
want
to
call
it.
How
old
are
you? 22
What
is
your
real
name? Let's
stick
by
D'Luscious
for
now.
Where
are
you
from? Vancouver
B.C.
|

|
|
Who
or
what
has
inspired
you
to
join
the
music
industry? Eversince
I've
been
a
child
I
have
studied
hip
hop
and
listened
to
artists
like
Tupac
and
Da
Brat.
At
11
years
old
I
began
writing
rhymes
and
practicing
my
flow
to
hip
hop
instrumentals.
Since
then
ain’t
nobody
stop
me,
I
keep
writing
and
I
keep
rhyming. |

|
Why
is
it
that
the
Asian
music
industry
lacks
women
artists? Because
we
ain’t
got
enough
asian
women
with
talent
coming
out
with
albums
either
in
the
asian
industry
or
in
the
mainstream.
If
a
women
has
talent
you
can't
knock
her
whether
she's
white,
black
or
indian.
I
hope
I
can
be
able
to
motivate
asian
women
out
there
to
go
out
and
do
it
baby,
if
you
think
you
got
what
it
takes
to
be
an
entertainer
in
the
music
industry
then
do
it
ma'
and
don't
let
no
one
stop
you.
What
makes
you
different
to
other
music
artists
and
what
is
it
that
you
have
to
offer? First
off
I
am
an
east-indian,
FEMALE,
rapper.
Haven't
heard
too
much
of
that
lately.
2nd,
I
sing
all
my
own
hooks.
3rd,
ain't
nobody
but
me
writing
my
lyrics
and
4rth,
I
am
straight
hitting
the
mainstream
industry
rather
than
just
targeting
the
asian
music
industry
cuz
that
isn't
what
my
music
is
about.
If
you
listen
to
my
album
you'd
know
what
I
mean. |
|
What
are
you
currently
doing
at
the
moment? Right
now
it's
all
about
contacts
and
exposure.
We
are
organizing
a
canadian
tour
at
the
moment
and
then
coming
out
to
the
UK
cuz
that
is
really
where
the
love
is
at.
Wus
up
Adil?
Are
you
planning
on
coming
out
with
a
music
video? Ofcourse.
Nowadays
it's
all
about
the
video.
A
video
is
like
a
resume
these
days.
It
can
make
you
or
brake
you.
The
video
should
be
out
late
spring
2005.
How
do
you
feel
about
the
music
videos
these
days? HOT!!!
It's
funny
cuz
if
you
look
back
just
a
couple
of
years
and
see
some
videos
as
opposed
to
the
ones
now,
it's
a
crazy
difference.
The
videos
now
are
more
fun,
sexy
and
2005,
if
you
know
what
I
mean. |

|
|
|
How
did
you
come
up
with
the
name
D'Luscious? I
like
the
name
D'Luscious.
I
like
the
meaning
of
luscious;
adorable,
exquisite,
rare
and
flavorsome.
All
these
words
describe
not
only
my
look
but
as
well
as
my
music. |
|

|
How
did
you
feel
when
you
first
came
about
releasing
your
first
album? Was
it
scary
or
were
you
excited? Scary?
No
way.
Excited
barely
describes
the
way
I
felt.
I
waited
11 years
to
do
an
album.
I
cried
like
a
baby
when
I
held
my
first
copy
in
my
hand.
It
was
an
amazing
feeling!
What
do
you
have
planned
for
the
future? To
do
a
world
wide
tour
and
sell
a
lot
of
albums
on
my
own
as
an
independent
artist.

Do
you
plan
on
working
with
any
of
the
more
up
stream
artists
whether
it
be
Asian
or
non
Asian? I
enjoy
working
with
different
artists/producers
whether
it
be
asian
or
non
asian.
We
currently
do
have
plans
on
doing
some
bhangra
remixes
with
talented
Dj's.
Holla
if
you
think
you
can
work
with
me.

Watch
out
for
this
girl
she’s
going
to
make
things
happen.
